Smallest of the Riva "Rigiva" milling machines the Type V.0 used a simple drive system by V-belt with a rear-mounted 1.3 h.p. motor that allowed the head to be tilted over. Unfortunately the quill had only a quick-action lever feed, so limiting the machine's usefulness for toolroom work. However, as part compensation, it did have power feed to the 700 x 200 mm table in all three directions - longitudinal travel being 470 mm, traverse 180 mm and 380 mm vertically.

Designed along familiar Riva lines, the V.4 vertical milling machine was unique in having its 2-speed, 3/1.8 h.p. drive motor flange mounted at the back of the main column instead on inside on the base - the 12 spindle speeds ranging from 50 to 1600 r.p.m. With movements of 560 mm longitudinally, 200 mm in traverse and 500 mm vertically, the 900 x 225 mm table had three T-slots and was powered from a separate motor and feeds gearbox.

Riva "Rigiva" Type S.G.A. Heavily built, with column and foot cast as-one, this model was fitted with a "Cherrying" type head and intended for the production of geometrically shaped dies. Fitted with a 800 x 250 mm table all travels were by hand with a longitudinal feed of 500 mm, a cross traverse of 240 mm and a vertical of 450 mm. Driven by a 2-speed 0.6/0./4 h.p. motor speeds from 450 to 3600 r.p.m. were available.

Type S.G.M. Another Riva model intended for geometrical die sinking. This was a lighter machine than the S.G.A. with a smaller 700 x 200 mm table and mounted on a floor stand with chip tray
