A particularly fine toolroom-class Kärger from the early 1950s with a T-slotted cross slide, variable-speed drive, power sliding and surfacing from a separate power shaft and spindle-speed control from a "third-shaft" arrangement with levers by both headstock and fastened to the right-hand face of the apron.
