Lathe & Watchmakers' Tools Catalogue
This particularly fine example of a G.Boley "Size 2" production lathe from the early 1950s is fitted with an all-lever compound slide clamped to the bed with double bolts. The top slide has double T-slots and the cross slide two large transverse T-slots at the rear for parting-off and forming work. Of the finely-adjustable type, the lever-action collet closer is of exceptionally fine quality. An integral motor and switchgear are fitted and a neat hinge-up guard provided for the spindle-drive belt..
