Standard screw-feed compound slide rest assembly Type PR2. This was an exceptionally well made and beautifully-detailed item with zeroing-micrometer dials, built-in adjustable stops - and the choice of 20 TPI or 1 mm pitch feed-screws as well as the fine-feed 40 TPI ground thread fitted as standard. The English micrometer dials were graduated in 0.005" divisions. Most Pultra slides were fitted with ordinary screw-pushed gib strips but a number have also been found with tapered gibs with adjustment screws at front and back. These may have been produced for heavy-duty production work, or simple as an experiment to see how well they held up in service.

Compound slide rest (PR10) with lever-feed cross slide and screw-feed top slide carrying four-way and rear toolposts.

Compound slide rest (PR11) with screw-feed cross slide and lever-feed top slide.

Compound slide with factory-fitted rotary indexing multi-stops and 4-way toolpost (PM10/3). These stops could be fitted to any of the slides rests to improve their suitability for production work.

Radius and Spherical Turning Slide (PR13)

Slide Swivel Adaptor (PM79). This device could be fitted to the bottom unit of all the compound slide rests and allowed a second top slide to be mounted, or the front-mounted top slide to be moved to the rear.
