Heinemann-Ako turret lathes Types RH-2, RH-2R and RH-3R. Available with either as horizontal turret (as shown), or one disposed vertically, the spindle bore was either 31 or 42 mm, centre height 175 mm and the maximum distance between spindle nose and turret 420 mm. The lathes could be had in a number of different configurations and specifications including ones with backgear (when the model type had the suffix "R") and (as illustrated) with thread-chasing equipment. Also available were a pair of High-speed types where., for an extra charge on the RH-1 and RH-2 only, was a spindle running in Radiax ball or roller bearings that allowed top speeds of 4000 r.p.m. and 3000 r.p.m. respectively The illustration shows a Model RH-3R with thread-chasing equipment, backgear and a "Universal 2-jaw chuck"
