Very seldom encountered, the Perfect drilling machine was similar in design and construction to other light-duty machines - examples include the Denbigh, Champion and perhaps the precision IME - that were manufactured until the late 1960s. Standing 26.75 inches high (680 mm), the drill was 5.125 inches wide across its foot (130 mm) and 10 inches (250 mm deep). The table, which could be rotated and raised and lowered but not tilted, was 6.1875 inches in diameter and the quill travel 2 inches (50 mm). The chuck fitted to all the few examples known was a British-made 0 to 3.8" capacity "Sphere" - and so almost certainly the original fitting.
