A simple backgeared and screwcutting Electrolathe. Although it has an unusually deep bed for an inexpensive lathe both the design and detailing look poor. The cross slide is mounted to the extreme left-hand side of the saddle (to reach across the gap bed); the changewheels are carried on a single curved bracket (making the assembly of a compound gear train awkward); there appears to have been no attempt to mount a changewheel guard and the covers over the backgears are perfunctory. In it's favour are reasonably large diameter spindle bearings, a generous distance between centres, a good cast-iron 3-step headstock pulley--and a nice badge.
