Schaffner F Series in its most complex arrangement (Type SL-3) with a second handwheel at the table's left-hand end. In this modified form it could be changed to the Model F7M with power longitudinal feed from an electric motor with potentiometer-controlled, variable-speed drive

Yet another variation: knee lift by both a hand lever and screw feed. In this form the design was listed as the Type HSV

Schaffner Series 7 arranged as the production model F7-Pnl-Z. This version was fitted with hydraulically-driven longitudinal table feed with rapid return and both a pneumatic-hydraulically operated pick-off mechanism for the table's return - and a pneumatic transverse pick-off for the table return. Also fitted was automatic braking of the spindle with or without stopping the motor, delayed starting and table movement, a choice of round or prismatic overam and a choice of special speed ranges together with, if required, oil-mist lubrication of the English-made Gamet high-precision taper roller bearings.

The F7-Pnl-Z production miller fitted with an electro-pneumatically operated indexing head, the Type ET-100. The unit was fully synchronized with the table's hydro-pneumatically operated table feed with quick clamping incorporating a time delay. Once set, the unit operated fully automatically i.e. starting the machine put into action the spindle motor, the table feed and quick-clamping mechanism. After completion of the milling cycle the movements ceased automatically.

Self-motorised high-speed drilling and milling attachment Type BF1. This unit could be swivelled 90° each side of vertical and available in three different forms, the one illustrated being the basic type with down-feed by lever only. This was not the only high-speed milling head offered, the French-language catalogue shows a different type for mounting on the Series W stub-mill models, this having a crank handle for down-feed and three speeds, to choice, of either 1000, 2000 and 3000 r.p.m. or 2000, 4000 and 6000 r.p.m.

A rather more useful version of the BF1 high-speed drilling and milling attachment with the addition of quill control by a fine-feed handwheel.
