Raglan Mk2. Little John test-piece turning lathe. The backgear-engagement lever slot was blanked off and, out of sight on the back of the bed, was a form of taper-turning attachment - more accurately described as a forming attachment - to which could be fixed a template of the form required to be turned.

A raglan Mk.2 Little John set us as a brass-finishing model. Almost certainly, by the 1950s, not a hot-selling version

Although its seems that many sellers on eBay are fixated on showing the back rather than the front of their
lathe, it was unusual for makers to do so - and this picture has yet to be found in any Raglan sales literature..
