Not of Muckle manufacture (but as available to fit the lathe) a contemporary slide rest that allows the use of drilling spindles, eccentric cutter frames, etc.

The Muckle as found: left to rot in a pig sty hidden away in a forest on the rain-lashed hills of Wales. The previous owner must have surprised at the response to his advertisement for an "old lathe" - competition for its purchase being rather keen. Rooting around on the floor and digging through the accumulated debris, the buyer managed to find a number of interesting and useful extra parts.
Worthy of note amongst this collection of parts is the beautifully-made, forged rive dog
