Very much still in use and fitted with a DRO system, this Fray 10R turret milling machine has been found to vary from the maker's published specification: the upper slides have a travel of 17"x10" not the listed 10"x10"; and the table is 39" not 32" long and has a longitudinal travel of  17 ½" not 18 ½" while  the "Y" travel (in and out) is only 7 ½ ", not 8 ½". Whether the catalog is incorrect or the makers changed the machines is not known. Not listed was the spindle taper - an International 30 - nor the quill travel - 2½".
