Manufactured by Dronsfield Brothers Ltd. at their Atlas Works in Oldham, England, the Marlow tool and cutter grinder is a very seldom-encountered machine, the Company being better known for their inexpensive 'Marlow' vertical milling machines and range of Eagle hand-operated surface grinders. They also manufactured a small lathe - the "Mini Lathe" - details of which, unfortunately, do not seem to have survived.
Another very rare model is their cylindrical grinder, the only known example presently residing in the Chez Republic.
