Made from late in 1970 until 1986, the F1 might have been thought an unlikely candidate for computer control. However, Aciera persisted with the system, at first tape-controlled and then increasingly sophisticated as the move was made to full CNC operation. After Aciera were bought by an Indonesian Company, production appears not to have continued, though it is likely that one or more prototypes were made before the project was abandoned. The illustration below is the only one known to show the proposed Far Eastern CNC version.
