Probably French in origin, this attractive little machine is screwcutting, with tumble-reverse, but not backgeared. Of 850 mm overall length, 80 mm in centre height and with a capacity between centres of 420 mm, it is of obvious quality with its wide, flat-topped bed carrying a narrow but very deep gap. The saddle has long, supportive wings, the headstock bearings are of a substantial size and even the countershaft is beautifully made and proportioned.
