Palmgren Home Page
Ten inches in diameter, the Palmgren rotary table sat on a compound table with X and Y travels. The unit looks to have been well made and with an excellent cosmetic finish - and must, when new have been a relatively expensive proposition - though like all the company's products, aimed at the amateur market. The micrometer dial for rotating the table was fitted with a vernier scale so allowing, with car, accuracy of rotation to with in minute of arc.
A similar but small compound slide rotary table was fitted to the English BCA miniature jig borer and also offered as a stand-alone unit for mounting on larger machines and drill presses, etc.
