With its "Norman Patent" height-adjustable toolholder and headstock bearings adjustable by "C-spanner" nuts, this little backgeared, plain-turning lathe of approximately  3" x 16" (with a useful detachable gap piece in the bed) was almost certainly built up from a set of castings supplied by Hughes and Fawcett of Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire, England.
