4-station turret for cross slide mounting A super-precision turret, capable of indexing to within 0.0001" and based on the design of that used on the Hardinge Chucking machine turrets. The main body of the unit rotates on pre-loaded angular-contact bearings with the indexing and locking shaft also ball- bearing mounted .
Tool post grinder with single phase motor. This units mounts straight into the T slot of the top slide.
Four-position indexing stop for cross slide - and precision 4-way toolpost. The unit, mounted on the cross slide and saddle top, incorporates a 0.0001" dial indicator with over-run protection.
Micrometer carriage stop The micrometer barrel can be seen bolted to the leading edge of the saddle - whilst the adjustable bed clamp also carries a dial test indicator. The unit is designed to assist the turning of exact shoulder lengths and facing to close tolerances.
Carriage Length Indicator This compact unit which attaches via the front headstock mounting bolt, is designed to allow the cutting tool to approach as closely as possible to the spindle face.
Rear Tool Holder Slide Assembly In place of a simple rear toolpost Hardinge provide this very useful assembly with a raising block and slide. It is fitted with two locking screws and besides being capable of "inverted turning" using ordinary tools, the unit accepts several optional devices including a patented Cut-off Tool Holder, a Circular Form Toolholder and Multiple Tool Holder.
Taper turning attachment. The button protruding through the top of the saddle is the oil pump plunger.
