Although I've written extensively on the early Hardinge HLV and later HLV-H lathes here, the catalogs produced by the company were full of interesting details and useful illustrations. Although the sales literature for the HLV contained images of relatively poor quality, those for the HLV-H were much improved and can be seen here. Both the HLV and HLV-H were built in the United States, in Elmira, New York, and the United Kingdom at a factory in Feltham, Middlesex.
