Made possibly by "Chet" of Toulouse in the 1950s, this unusual Geneva-type watchmaker's lathe has survived in unused condition and complete on it's maker's wooden cabinet base. Apparently a manufacturer's "exhibition" prototype, it still has with it the design blueprint and a set of headstock collets.
Très beau tour d'horloger fabrication des années 50 a Toulouse , prototype d'exposition avec ses plans de fabrication. La machine a l'évidence n'a jamais servi . Livrée avec son socle en bois massif et ses accessoires. Le tour fait 37 cm de long pour une hauteur de 21 cm L'ensemble 50 x 30 cm hauteur  42 cm pour un poids total de 22 kgs .
