A detailed Atlas & Craftsman Drill Press Catalog
& Instruction Set is Available
Looking very similar to the range of Atlas Drill Press models, the ones badged as "Craftsman - sold by Sears Roebuck - changed little from 1933 until 1942. Some models continued for a number of years and appeared in several catalogs while others were dropped after only two years of production.
After WW2, and surprisingly not until 1948 and the reintroduction of the Craftman catalog, an entirely revised line was advertised, these being made not by Atlas, but another Company. The appearance of this new range was unusual, each model having a rather unusual, over-styled "streamlined" appearance. By the late 1950s and by then perhaps not selling as well as expected, the range was no longer offered. These late-models examples can be seen on Page 2
