SOLD: an unused Emco 6-speed vertical milling head as used on the FB2 milling machine and Emco lathes. I bought this unit unused, in the maker's box; it has been test run, but never cut metal. Complete with the correct maker's switch (in a home-made box) and the base mount for fastening to the back of a lathe bed. The head swivels through 360°, has a No. 2 Morse taper quill, a 1-phase motor, both fine feed by a handwheel and a quick-action drilling feed from a 3-spoke capstan handle with 40 mm of quill travel. Spindle speeds 120, 200, 370, 680, 1100 and 2000 r.p.m. The unit is designed to mount on the Emcomat 7, 8.4, 8.6, V8, V10, V10P and Super 11 lathes - but could easily be fastened to any other with a flat face to the back of its bed - such as the Myford 254 Series. £950 Futher details of these heads can be found here
